Please make it load faster on the iPhone 6. This is a calculator and should load instantly. Maybe getting rid of the splash screen weight can help.
Already PCalc lite gives very good pocket calculator function. The additional functions of PCalc persuaded me to upgrade to the pay version - although its price of 7,99 € feels quite high.
I have used PCalc from Day 1, and as a mathematician and engineer can only recommend it for anyone who needs a serious calculator on the iPhone.
This is by far the best calculator in the App Store. Awesome update for iOS 7, too. Go get it.
…and to put an end to the 1-star-reviews just because of the new icon: would you also consider a Tesla to be a bad car just because you don’t like its colour? Try keeping things in perspective...
Some bad moments
The new icon is super-ugly. I dont know what the developers were thinking. Please change back to the old icon.
Suffice it to say that any calculator with a programming mode that converts a Dec -1 to a Hex -1 is close to useless as a programming calculator. Add a word length setting (e.g. 16, 32, 64) and correctly display negative numbers in hex, octal and binary and I will up vote my rating
Used to be good and still works well once it finally loads, but now it loads so slow while you watch the 42 splash screen that it is frustrating. They need to optimize it for a fast load like it was before. When I need a calculator on my phone it is because it is convenient. If it is this slow you lose the convenience. And I dont have a slow phone. I have the 6S plus.
This is an amazing app. I really love it.
It’s great to see that the app can be customized to the finest details and offer tons of functions without having an awfully complex user interface.

I moved the Apple calculator out of sight immediately after installing this one and I cant even remember where it is now.

(And I love the icon. Great reference :-) I understand it might have confused some people but it definitively shouldnt be a polarizing point…)
Every time I look for this calculator, I can’t find it.
“42” may be the meaning of life, but it really is a FAIL of app icon!
