Really excellent! Great RPN support. I like the new option for displaying scientific numbers like 1.23e-8. Ive also enjoyed customizing the layouts and adding new functions (I created a tip calculation that shows the tip and the total on two lines). Could use better help.

The number tiles on my iPhone 6 Plus are completely misaligned making it nearly impossible to use. Please send a fix ASAP.

PCalc is a very powerful calculator app that’s available across all my Apple devices. It does so much more than I would ever use it for, but I deeply appreciate James Thomson’s commitment to continuously improving the app and making it available anywhere you could want it.

I love this app and have used it for years. The developer continues to embrace new features and devices with constant updates. I rarely need to open the full app anymore, as the Watch extension and Today widget have taken its place. And I dig the new icon - freshens things a bit but still easy to locate on my home screen due to the "42."

Ive been using PCalc for years now, and it has never ceased to amaze me. Such a great app! And, by the way, the new icon is gorgeous.

Gave PCal one star due to suspicious app behavior. The suspicious behavior that I am talking about is related to 4 features in PCals "Advance Settings" that should have been in an default state of disabled but were not. The features are: 1. Update currency rates 2. Sync user data to iCloud 3. Sync layouts to iCloud 4. Use Handoff. I must admit that just by looking at these features the user can figure out what each feature does, however these features in addition to their functions could be setup to immediately uploads a users personal info without first requesting permission. Any developer that creates apps that transmits data with first informing the user and getting that users permission to do so is untrustworthy.

Far and away the best calculator app available for iOS. The most recent version adds a conversion section to the watch app. This is a really nifty, useful addition to the watch. Cant wait to see what is coming next.

PCalc is a fantastic calculator that is customizable to be perfect for anyone and everyone. More than that however is how great a citizen of iOS and the broader Apple ecosystem the app and its developer is. James does a great job on the application and has for years now, and forgottentowels update to the icon is fantastic!

This is definitely the best calculator I use, on the iPhone or elsewhere. I actually pull out pCalc more often than I do my shiny HP-35s. With the latest update, it opens much faster than in the past (even on an iPhone 3G). There are plenty of settings, so even the most picky calculator user ought to be able to set it up just as they like. Well done, Mr. Thomson.

This app is fantastic, but the new icon is horrific.

I use this everyday for simple calculations to much more complex ones. PS. Icon update is awesome and still doesnt effect the usability of the app.

Other reviews of this app go into detail about all its different features and how comprehensive and customizable it is. I would just like to comment on how smoothly the app runs. PCalc has been around for a long time, and the author has added features and refined the user experience in such a way that everything just works right. It has long been my go-to calculator, and that doesnt change with this latest update.

My previous review seems to have disappeared, so let me update it. If your brain is wired to use RPN (from HP calculator days), you should definitely buy this. Full stop. Ive bought every RPN calculator in the App Store, and this is the best. Even if you dont use RPN, you should almost certainly buy this. Flexible, powerful; configurable, pretty to look at (unlike some, I love the new icon), constantly updated to keep pace with new Apple features... if you care enough about calculators to be reading this review, youll like PCalc. Buy it!

This is by far the best calculator across all of Apples platforms. It is ridiculous to ding stars for a Changelog as a previous reviewer did.

Having used HP RPN style calculators for 30+ years, I now struggle with the "simplicity" of a standard calculator. Its everything I need in a mobile calculator. For those taking issue with the icon--its like complaining when someone gives you a million dollars in wadded up $1 bills.
